From the homeowner,
When we first moved 30 years ago the neighborhood was a cacophony of construction zones hammers electric saws and drills from dawn to dusk it is now transformed into one of the quietest streets in the entire county. The harsh sounds of construction have morphed into a symphony of nature the 4 foot tall redwood seedlings in the backyard have grown over 70 feet tall creating a natural privacy barrier and is now home to hundreds of birds. The singing begins at dawn and continues throughout the day finishing the afternoon with the high-pitched calls from the large hawks looking forward to dinner. The dark is owned by the owls calling for their mates. sitting in the backyard on a warm windless evening is like sitting in a cathedral of giant redwoods similar to a walk-through Muir woods. Of all the renovations made over the years our personal favorite is the master bath with the walk-in shower and multiple jets along with the always relaxing spa tub. From day one I envisioned the house becoming a warm cozy home filled with holidays and many children laughing and enjoying all the indoor and outdoor spaces. Having been blessed with eight grandchildren it is a wonderful place to be for all family events ranging from birthdays to wedding rehearsal dinners and accommodating as many as 125 guests at any one time. The kitchen remodel makes entertaining even more fun and is the gathering spot for most parties. New windows and doors resulted in great temperature control year round and reduced energy costs significantly. The next owners will greatly enjoy living here as we have!
