The property was sold 1924 to a group of businessmen who turned into what it is now Castlewood Country Club.
The group added the two golf courses and lots were sold primarily as second homes for wealthy residents of San Francisco and Oakland. In 1969 the club house burnt down in a fire but it was rebuilt to model the original Mansion. Castlewood is full of rich history and pure beauty!
