Del Prado is a lovely neighborhood in Pleasanton. There is a lot of charm when you drive through the Del Prado neighborhood. Large mature trees line most of the streets. Almost all of the homeowners take excellent care of their home. If you are looking for a home for sale in Pleasanton, Del Prado is definitely a great place to start your search. This neighborhood is centrally located in Pleasanton allowing quick and easy access to everything you need.

The location of this neighborhood is ideal to quickly access the freeway and at the same time downtown Pleasanton. Del Prado has three different builders including, McKay Homes, Dietz Crane, and Singer Homes, and construction was from 1968 to 1977. Home sizes range between 1300 to 2500 Sq. Ft of living space.   Lot sizes can range from 6500 to 9000 Sq.Ft. of land.

There seems to be a sense of pride from the homeowners in the Del Prado Neighborhood, as it shows with how they take care of their homes. Downtown Pleasanton is what attracts many people and to be this close, is fantastic. Walnut Grove Elementary, Harvest Park Middle School, and Amador Valley High School are the most likely destination for children living in the Del Prado neighborhood. For some parts of Del Prado walking distance would be very convenient to all three of these schools. Del Prado also has a quick entrance to miles of trails near the creek. That trail runs for miles allow the 680 freeway and is used daily.

There are two parks in the Del Prado neighborhood one being the Hansen Park which is between Hansen Rd. and Black Ave. The Hansen Park has 6.2 acres and has barbeque pits, basketball hoops, picnic tables, tot play area and a sports field. The other park is the Del Prado Park which is a total of 5 acres and is on Hansen Rd. It also has bbq pits, basketball hoops, picnic tables, tot play area, and a sports field. Del Prado also has a community pool located on Paseo Santa Cruz. As you can see the Del Prado neighborhood has plenty to offer and would be an excellent place to live.
