One of the best aspects of living in California, especially the Tri-Valley area, is the amazing weather! In general, we tend to get a little bit of a later start to summer but we also are fortunate to extend our summer into October.
When the calendar says Autumn starts September 22, many of us are still running around in short and short-sleeved shirts. While the sun sets a little bit earlier, we still get to take immense pleasure in warm breezes in the evening.
While the grasses on the hills of Mt. Diablo show straw fields rather than lush greenery in spring, the leaves on the trees are a mix of gorgeous gold, orange, and red foliage as well as bright green with colorful blooming flowers.
Autumn is one of the best times to live in the Tri-Valley with so much to do! Whether you are a spry child looking for the most perfect pumpkin or an adult wanting to settle in with some apple cider, the Tri-Valley has something for everyone!
