2023 Nostalgia Day Car Show 

The ever popular 2023 Nostalgia Day Car Show took place this past Sunday in Downtown Livermore’s Historic First Street. Hot rods, muscle cars, custom cars, and classics filled the streets as onlookers ooh’d and aww’d while enjoying the provided food and beverages.

This event marks the 34th Anniversary of the Nostalgia Car Show whose profits go to help local charities. Operation “Anti-Freeze” was in force as well. For every clean jacket or coat brought in to help keep the homeless warm, recipients got a raffle ticket and a chance to win a variety of prizes. 

When You Wish Upon a Star Jazz Tribute to Disney

A jazz tribute to 100 years of Disney is taking place at the Bankhead Theater in Livermore this Friday at 8 pm.

“When You Wish Upon a Star” is billed as a “one-of-a-kind performance (that) will transport you to the magical world of Disney with jazz arrangements of classic tunes from beloved movies such as “The Lion King,” “Aladdin,” and “Frozen.” Talented musicians will have you tapping your feet and singing along to timeless hits like “A Whole New World” and “Let It Go.” It will be an extraordinary night of music and memories.”

Oktoberfest at Blacksmith Square

Bless Your Animals

This Saturday in Livermore, you are invited to have your pets blessed in honor of St. Francis, the patron saint of animals. Drop by Asbury UMC from 1:30-2:30 with your pets for this special event. For the safety. of all, its best to make sure your pets are confined to carriers or on leashes.
