It feels as if it’s been several summers since we’ve been able to enjoy all of the fun events in the Tri-Valley. Now that school is out and the weather is heating up, it’s time to enjoy what makes the Tri-Valley areas of Livermore, Pleasanton, and Dublin the go-to summer destination.
Downtown Pleasanton’s Concerts in the Park
Pack up the car with snacks, drinks, the kids, chairs, and even the dog and head on out to Downtown Pleasanton’s Concerts in the Park.
This free event takes place on most Fridays from now until August 26 at Lions Wayside Park on the corner of First Street and Neal Street. Enjoy an “eclectic mix of music from classic rock, blues and big band to today’s hits” from 7-9 pm. This is a great family event that brings the community out of their seats and onto the grass to dance and sing to their favorite hits. You can learn more by going to the Downtown Pleasanton Concerts in the Park event’s page.
Alameda County Fair

Much Ado About Shakespeare in the Vineyards 2023
Shakespeare buffs will enjoy two plays this summer at Livermore’s Darci Kent Vineyards. Silent Sky is performed from June 24-July 9 and Much Ado About Nothing runs from July 15 – August 6.
Silent Sky by Lauren Gunderson is “The true story of 19th-century astronomer Henrietta Leavitt (who) explores a woman’s place in society during a time of immense scientific and heart-bound discoveries. With music and math bursting forth onstage, Henrietta and her female peers change the way we understand both the heavens and Earth. Do you like Hidden Figures? Then you’ll love Silent Sky.”
“Much Ado About Nothing explores love and friendship, honor and deceit, and a couple of cases of crossed wires as newly-engaged Hero and Claudio play cupid to the constantly bickering Beatrice and Benedick. Can love conquer all or will it all be much ado about nothing?” Click here for tickets and more information.
