As a busy father, husband, and realtor, I appreciate how difficult this work, play, school, and live at home experience has been for all of us. Driving past the empty buildings, restaurants, wineries and shops in the Tri-Valley is difficult to witness.
Our previously thriving community is at an indefinite standstill, and we literally are living through history in the making.
Making the Best out of a Difficult Situation
Despite how difficult this process has been, I do like to look at the positive aspects. Not that I can speak for everyone, but I’m discovering the little blessings life has to offer.
The hills look a lot greener; the flowers bloom a bit brighter; and I feel a little more relaxed not having to rush from appointments and activities to spend time with my family.
I feel more appreciative of the people and events in my life I don’t have at my disposal. Life events such as celebrating birthdays or graduations, meeting my neighbors for a BBQ, and greeting people at an open house have never been more important to me.
The Tri-Valley Real Estate Market is Still Thriving
I am lucky to have chosen a career that has me able to still serve my clients, albeit virtually these days. In fact, our listing at 1001 Murrieta Blvd. in Livermore is pending, proving that the market is still alive and thriving!
The Gamache Team is still hard at work making the dreams of new homebuyers, investors, relocators, and sellers come true. We meet through virtual office meetings and old-fashioned ways such as calling and emailing.
It’s a new way of doing business, and one that will most likely continue for a bit, proving once again, The Gamache Team is still capable of helping our clients through the most difficult of experiences.
Have You Heard the Good News about the Tri-Valley Being Among the Safest Places to Live?
Another benefit of being at home is that I have plenty of opportunity to catch up on the latest news! According to The Patch, Pleasanton, Dublin, and Livermore were ranked among the 50 safest places to live. Our nearby neighbors, Danville and San Ramon, were also ranked in this list.
The list of the 50 safest cities were compiled by Safewise and took into account violent crimes, property crimes, and other information. To see the results of the study, read the April 1 report, California’s 50 Safest Cities of 2020.
